Statistics show that BIPOC students are underrepresented in STEM majors and careers, and often face academic challenges due to factors such as unequal access to educational resources and cultural biases. For example, according to the National Science Foundation, in 2018, only 10% of bachelor’s degrees in computer science and engineering were awarded to Black, Latinx, and Indigenous students combined.

UNITE aims to address these disparities by providing students with the academic support they need to succeed in math and science courses. By working with experienced tutors who understand the unique challenges that BIPOC students may face, students can improve their confidence, skills, and understanding of these subjects.

UNITE is a great fit for families and individuals who are seeking equitable and inclusive opportunities for personal and academic growth. With experienced tutors, supportive learning environments, and a focus on promoting diversity and inclusion in STEM fields, UNITE is dedicated to empowering individuals from underrepresented communities to reach their full potential.
